2 posts · Joined 2017. #18 · Jun 4, 2017. My 2007 300C kept stalling intermittently. Mechanics unable to help. A mate located a hole in the side of wiring harness from rear of engine bay to engine. Had worn through where hose touches low pressure line of A/C. Soldering a bridge between broken wires fixed problem. 81 posts · Joined 2006. #1 · Oct 31, 2019. My 2007 300 srt8 has about 137K miles on it. While parked in front of my house, the fuel pump failed. It started and then quickly ran out of gas and stalled. Then crank but no start. 1/2 a tank of fuel on the gauge. Through research on this site, I narrowed it down to a fuel pump and finally towed it CtCarl. If your ECU is bad, just send it out and have it repaired. Last week I noticed a listing for an ECU repair service on that big auction website for $50. Much less hassle and expense than trying to find a new ECU and flash it to your VIN. This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread. 6075 posts · Joined 2006. #3 · Jan 30, 2009 (Edited) the 2005 keys had issues with the battery holder solder breaking.. another not so common issue is the WCM (Wireless Control Module) on the early build cars (300s built between 01-2004 and late 07-2004) pooping out and no longer receiving the signal from the key.. There is a technical bulletin on this problem. Problem is with the one way valve for the evap canister. Recently the large 3"x4" LCD Radio screen started going on the fritz. When I start the car the screen and controls work find for the first 10 minutes or so. Then the Radio LCD screen goes blank, but the radio and the preset stations still work fine. xBk3.
